This love for you is elemental

I feel you crackle in the sky tonight There's no need to shout— your words are louder than mine We're tethered, not by chains, or voltage, but this lightning light Current that hums through concrete where fields aline A ruthless brilliance, the likes of which my life commits Because of you my skies alive you flip my switch I am the rain that finds you drop by drop Tracing the map of your skin I'll never stop This isn't soft, it isn't sweet; It's far from passe or simply sentimental. So don't flinch, let it soak you to the bone; this love for you is elemental!
