This Land Is My Land
This Land is My Land
Ee, by gum, have you seen this place?
How things have changed since the good old days!
This land was meant for the workers pace,
The rolling hills and the farmers’ ways.
An industrial city in the heart of the land,
The people still strong in spirit and mind,
Wheere ther’s muck, ther’s brass for that waiting hand,
‘Ey up, in Yorkshire, that’s what you’ll find.
