This Is the Day the Lord Gave

Night and day, twenty-four hours
A day of mine and a day of yours;
This is the day the Lord created
He gave us life, by Him, dictated.

Morning, noon and night
All we do is fight
We battle our emotions
Because the Lord gave us no options.

The is the day the Lord gave
Living chained I am His slave;
For doing this and that
Treating me like a spoiled brat.

Wars accumulate, hatred expand
And I? Should I give a helping hand?
The is the day the Lord provided
His ten rules obviously one sided.

Paedophiles allowed to humiliate
Rapists forever intimidate;
Mothers destroys pregnancies
While fathers full of felonies.

This is the day the Lord gave life
Torture, persecution and strife;
The is the lord who gave us the day
In total Command and us in squeeze play.
