This Is Me Really
Sometimes we need to stop and think
what kind of picture do I really portray?
is it really myself or is it a disguise?
people see someone whether night or day
In me lying dormant is rage and anger
so judgemental on others sure to blame
quick to respond at what looks terrible
not willing to hear others a living flame
People think I'm so patient and passive
but really this is just one great big lie
it's easy to impress by being just silent
others then think you a person very shy
Born into this world so unwanted
put up for adoption in the time taken
but anger and temper all lay dormant
having stammer felt to be forsaken
Ignored so often not regarded at all
can't speak they thought not any use
over the years frustration bred such malice
this is really me hiding under my bush
