This Is How We Fall

Cut my veins
To find an escape
Stop my heart
I still want to bleed
Dying and I want to scream

We may not know you Alexz....but we hear you, and care very much about you. I pray for you, and hope you will reach out to someone to talk with. Carrie

You need to talk. You need to know you are not alone. Hartgrove hospital in Chicag has an entire wing devoted to cutters. I work part time in Pa. and have talked to many, all of them wonderful kids, all of them intelligent and I believe being intelligent has hurt them more thasn a child who isn't aware of the situations they are in. Prayer helps. Poetry has helped many as an alternate coping skill. The urges come and it is difficult. One of my poems "Cutters Lament" is devoted to them. Vince
