This Is How It Is

Today I woke up in the morning,
Yawning,
Groaning,
Grinning,
Then I saw your beautiful image,
That was clamped on the door of my heart,
Guess what?
I stopped,
My heart limped,
My face smiled,
My bones chuckled,
And I saw a hope,
A hope of living again,
A hope of moving on,
Without tire,
Nor retire,
Yes, I gained hope,
A hope to battle again,
With no retreat,
No surrender.
