THIS IS FOR
This is for the veterans who always did as they were told
Only to come home and be left out in the cold
For all the single parents that try to make ends meet
And pray to the Lord every day please help me on my feet
This is for all the fathers who work hard everyday
And for the mothers who always take the time to pray
To all the lonely people who think they can’t go on
Who feel like this old world has left them all alone
This is for all the people who try and understand
Why is there so much hatred growing through out our land
And for the people who stand and always salute our flag
And wonder why people would treat it like a rag
This is for the children who just wants their parents love
Ain’t that what it says in the bible it was sent from above
Maybe if we start thinking differently and start to use our voice
Then one day soon we will help somebody make the right choice.
