this is my beginning
this is where I start
this is how I answer the questions
this is what I say to my heart

this is the way I say I love you
this is not like the last time
this is another chance at romance
this is me crossing the dotted line

this is the sound of my heart loving
this is the song that I sing
this is the way I want to know you
this is what tomorrow brings

this is the path that leads to forgiveness
this is the trail that leads to you
this is my way of finding my way
this is the splintered door I walk through
