This heart is old, it owns no thesis.
 This heart's been broken,
a zillion pieces, coated in chocolate,
sold as Reese's..
This heart still holds the human species.
It laughs with Buddha.
It walks with Jesus..

Ah so beautiful how youv written this evocative poem dear Nancy: i think my heart is also coated in chocolate. What a way to describe your heart that remains sweet amidst all that you’ve seen and felt. Your last two lines shows how you accept all aspects of life and humankind, how you have a big heart, for all! Which is precious and heartwarming to read! Sending you light always poetic soul. Lovely and does your heart appease to other religious figures also? A heart never really gets old, in my opinion.. only our outer does.. however, a heart can get sick if we do not look after it... I hope you are well..
