This Fast

I saw you sitting there across the room. What I'd give to be that cigarette between your lips. I moved your way I caught your eye. What I'd do to be that glass from which you sip. Walk his way, give him a reason to stay. He smiled at me, and I thought, "Could this be?" Can it really happen this fast? When two eyes lock for the first time, Can you really feel those butterflies? Does his touch make you weak in the knees? Does the world go dark except for that spark between? He met me half way across the room I said hello and he told me he liked my smile I looked down shy all of a sudden Told him it hadn't shown like this in a while He lifted my chin, I was met with his grin, and I thought, "Could this be?" Can it really happen this fast? When two eyes lock for the first time, Can you really feel the butterflies? Does his touch make you weak in the knees? Does the world go dark except for that spark between? He took my hand and led me to the door. What were we gonna do? I'd never done anything like this before. We left the world behind us for the night. He whispered in my ear, "Baby you better hold on tight." And I thought, Can it really happen this fast? When two eyes lock for the first time, Can you really feel those butterflies? Does his touch make you weak in the knees? Does the world go dark except for that spark between? Can it really happen this fast? Can it really happen this fast? Can it really happen this fast? When two eyes lock for the first time, Can you really feel those butterflies? Does his touch make you weak in the knees? Does the world go dark except for that spark between? Ya I could feel those butterflies.
