This Dark Path Depression's Led
this dark path depression's led
nothing beyond inside your head
spawning thoughts that see you dead
before and after where you tread
not this path if truth be said
the happy path that you have left
will be rejoined before your death
has been left some times before
now this path you must endure
and every path is one unsure
that happy path will be once more
go on and time will find a cure
this dark path depression's led
is not the only path you tread
and though you cannot see ahead
there's happiness before you're dead
