This Clear Day

I walk through the wind and sun on this clear day Thoughts slide from my mind and easily slip away A copper colored butterfly, flies by, swooping, dipping It makes me feel joy inside, like I could carry on skipping The acorns have fallen onto the pavement of the street I am careful not to slip on them too, rolling under my feet --- Days like these are so special to have fun --- --- In all the beauty that nature has spun --- Heidi Sands 8/26/17
