This Child Is Mine

I awoke this morning with a smile upon my face It's something that no one can erase Down This bumpy path I have trod All my burdens I give to God Without my testimony you don't know each test But when you see me you know that I am blessed Through my trials & tribulations My God NEVER takes a vacation He is with me in each journey from here to there My God is REAL & He's everywhere He brings me through each testing time He taught me to deal with life through words of rhyme The devil continues to ask me to come join his line But My God steps in and says "This child is MINE!"
