This Broken Heart

Please be patient while this broken heart is healing. There's always hope for a much better feeling. My days are long and sometimes I'm down. So please forgive me if and when I frown. I don't always smile and I really wish I could. But it's not an easy task and I want to feel good. I've had some time to think and ponder on the past. Now I wish this broken heart would heal just as fast.

Chandelle this has been entered in my Lightfoot contest, but I see no reference to a title from a lightfoot song, if entered by mistake please remove, if there is a lightfoot title in there somewhere please note it on your entry

Thank you for the clarification on the theme of the poem. I didn't realize you could check to see complete details of what was expected for the poem. How do I remove this poem from your contest as I am unable to do so.
