This Book of Hope

It is a Book of Hope
and it's there for all to see.
If we would but heed it's pages,
then we would be set free.

Not like any other book,
this has stood the test of time.
Not to heed it's wisdom
 would surely be a crime.

For in getting it's message to us,
many have come to violence.
Whatever this world has not understood,
it has always tried to silence.

But this Book of Hope remains
for those who would yet see
the worth between it's pages
so that they too would be set free.
