This Be Faith
This Be Faith (2/11/23)
When I feel nothing
Yet know He’s there
This be faith
To not despair
To see the Bread
Which be Him now
To turn to Him
This faith is how
I receive Him, then
And feel no change
To not expect it
Or think it strange
To remember
In silent trust
With His grace
Endure, I must
Til the end
When all’s revealed
And yearning soul
Be filled and healed
This be Faith
Can’t claim my own
This gift of Christ
And His alone
This, not feeling,
But trust and love
THIS be faith
In God Above
