This and That

there once lived a rat
who always stole in bags
nearby lived yet another rat
who only stole rags

whenever both rats met
the poor rat always said:
''Mr greedy, you'll soon be caught
tortured, killed, and left to rot''

one day the master set a bait
and they both met their fates
but what really made me hurt
was they stewed in the same pot
