Thirsty

Here i stand, dying of thirst
from my crown to the soles of my feet
feels dried out
i believe my spirit is parched
i need your water to live
i need your water to survive in this lost world
my drought is taken its toll on me
the weeds are taking over my garden
i'm choking, my breath is limited
i need a change in this waterless storm
this hurricane is destroying my surroundings
so now here i lay, dying of thirst
so please Lord rain down on me from above
shower me with your unconditional love
I believe he will quench my thirst
because i decided to put him first.....
i shall be replenished
