Thinking of His Lady

My lover and my friend,
My lady and my queen,
The forefront is where you live
You're not an afterthought to me.

I love you like a sister,
I see you as my equal,
I love to show you off
And let you shine in front of people

You're everything I like,
A dream is what I see,
My imagination, manifested,
And standing in front of me.

You're more than just a toy
And much more than just a body,
What we have is something deep,
It's not just a hobby.

This is not just what I do
To entertain me when I'm bored,
I respect you as a person,
It's not just my needs anymore

I care what you think
And I consider how you feel,
I value your opinion,
Because what you say is always real.

You're a real person, not a prop
And I'm so glad I found you,
I'll always keep you at the top,
Protected, with my love all around you.

My lover and my friend,
My number one priority.
The forefront is where you live,
Because that's the way that it should be.
