Think Twice

Think Twice Do you think I’m slipping? Losing my memory with old age? Do you think my better days are behind me? That I should be written off the page? Do you think I can’t see what’s going on? Don’t think I can read between the lines? Wasting away quietly into nonexistence Think you see clearly all the signs? Don’t be too cocky Don’t be too big for your shoes This tired man is aging But I’m not ready to lose On a good day I can still beat you With a arm tied behind my back So you better think twice Before you go on the attack Experience is on my side Wisdom comes with years I’ve paid my dues With blood, sweat, and tears
