Think of Me

Do you ever think of me
   when I think of you
On stormy nights when lightning strikes
and the rain is pouring too?

When I think I see your car
   though it is never yours
Or just for no real reason at all
   a fond memory occurs.

If I ever drive by your park
or if I go by mine
A tender thought of our time shared
my mind is sure to find.

When certain songs by Lyle or Liz
   play on Roots radio
To pleasant days when we held hands
is where my thoughts will go.

So dear heart though time has passed
   please tell me your memories
For all the time I think of you
do you ever think of me?
