Things We Lost In the Fire
Flat barren land
Red Arizona sand
Forbidden empty ground
Such a wretched hollow sound.

Watch the dying of the found.
A cactus plant
Hums a pagan chant
Oil fields writhe in pain
Watching as love sinks into flame.
Black water floods the mind
Love is gone, so ends our song...
