It was a year ago today we plain folk lost our say our lives restricted in so many ways Couldn't go to work or see a show almost nowhere we could go Shopping at super-stores our recreation Toilet paper hoarding, our avocation One year later things look better COVID's memorial ~ five scarlet letters

Well, at least in Illinois Covid seems to be on the run. Deaths and hospitalizations are way, way down over the last two weeks. And vaccinations are booming here now. It seems a corner's been turned where I am. Hope so. Wishing you happiness and joy, Rico. :) gw

Methinks that they are actually better as well, esp. in terms of hospitalizations and deaths. At least they are in Chicago and all of Illinois. Much better, really. Perhaps we're turning a corner with these vaccinations. Hope so, Gershon

We're still wearing masks here and you can't tell a robber from a shopper without a program. Nice job here Gershon. Hope it's over soon and no needles. Hate those things. God Bless, JB
