Things I'Ll Do Today

Things to do this Sunday...
Create yet another grocery list
Devour the leftover pizza
In my refrigerator
Tidy up my somewhat messy bedroom
Finally watch the movie, "Get Out"
To see what the fuss is all about
Discard all the white elephants in the attic
Pick out my work clothes for tomorrow
Look through old family photos 
So they're fresh in my mind once again
Bask in the afternoon sun for half an hour
Run some errands. Write this poem
Wrap a birthday gift I bought for my sister
Make some phone calls to 
My friends and family
Daydream about walking through
The footpath of Elysian fields with my arms
Outstretched, brushing through
Blades of grass waist high
