Thief
Someone stole my joy
And decided to walk off with my peace
Leave me scrambled up in hurt
And buried underneath defeat
Someone stole my smile
And tried to run away with gladness
Left me drowning down in misery
Being swallowed up by sadness
Someone stole my heart
And chose to drop me off in pieces
With a broken fixture of love
And then they told me I should keep it
Someone stole my mind
And confused me up with doubt
Making believe that they were for me
Just to stand me up without
Someone stole my time
And in return they lost their mind
Just to believe they'd get away
Was a mistake they have to face
