Thick Fog

When I read this poem the first time, I was unaware that it was a winning poem in Giorgio's contest...Congratulations on your win! This is a beautiful poem, Sara. I am very surprised that it did not place higher!

I can relate to this poem, because I can feel that there are some hidden emotions within your words. Sometimes a deep feeling of sadness comes over us, and it can change who we are. Similar to depression. And, we are waiting for those sunny days and warm feelings to return. This poem was beautifully written, Sara! And, as you say...it reads like a winner to me! :)
