They Say I Don'T Belong

New Poem They say I don't belong. By Anthony Grider 6/8/2018 When I was born, I had no choice but who I am., Being so poor my soul torn, Trying to find a better place then bam., As we cried they took us away., Where's our family they won't say. They say I don't belong, But God would tell them they are wrong. O' They say we don't belong, God made us all so they are wrong. They say I don't belong, But God would tell them they are wrong. We had no choice of where were born, Our lives were in danger do you care?, All we had were what we had worn, Sometimes life isn't always fair. Now they've lock us away, Where's our family they won't say. They say I don't belong, But God would tell them they are wrong. Now all our hope is gone, Oh they say we don't belong. They say I don't belong, God created us all so they are wrong. Not knowing what's going to happen is the worst thing, Being apart from your family brings on the worst pain. We had no choice they took us away, Took us from our family, Where's our family they won't say, We are hurting can't you see. Oh They say I don't belong, But God would tell them they are wrong. We just wanted a safer place to live, Thought this Christian nation would give. But they say we don't belong, On judgement day God will tell you you're wrong.

Hey Antony, I love your poem, i felt a strong connection in the part where you said "we had no choice of where we were born", because for the past six years of my life i have been asking myself the same thing over and over again. Identity is a treaky thing. Keep going!
