They Pout and Slam Doors
Being a professional listener has its perk
Sometimes I hear both sides and I am astounded.
They both portray the other one as a big jerk.
All of their accusations are pretty unfounded.
I listen and I nod, being insanely nice.
These are consenting adults, so they could quickly fix it.
All they have to do is talk to each other more than twice.
I try to get them together so they can mix it.
They hem and they haw, pout and slam doors sometimes.
It is not pleasant to see. Ridiculous actually.
It is easy to turn their behaviors into one of my rhymes.
They need to grow up and be the best adults they can be.
