On a 2008 cold brisk Winter's Day
Americans voted and joined to pray
Changing its history
with songs of glory
Freedom´s regal souls
stood tall and bold
Renewing Dr. King's dream
one America, one Team
A day etched in infamy
if never again to be
Brave Americans
took a stand
on the promised land
