These Faces I Am

Fervent as they may be
They’re fake
A ruse
Faces I put on for show

But these faces I am
When I act, these faces I am

Gasps and tears from a wildly crowd
Their applause makes my heart pound
Evoking emotion in one, two people, or an empty theatre
All the same, I’m more than who I am while on stage

These faces I am
When I act, these faces I am

I really like this one, Shreya. It reminds me of the two masks for comedy and tragedy.
