Theres Something I Need To Tell You

There's something you need to know, 
But how to tell you, I haven't a clue 
You need to before you go 
If I don't tell you I know I'll feel blue. 

It's only three little words! 
I could tie the message to a pigeon, 
But I'm scared of birds. 
It's only three little words! 

So here it is, the message I've got for you. 
I don't think I've told you this before, 
And I know I have to, before it's too late, 
To say three little words, takes so much courage. 

You've always been there for me, and 
I suppose what I have to tell you is, 
You're my mum, you love me with all your heart, 
The three little words this poems is saying is 
"I love you"
