There's Nothing Left To Say

I think about the sorrow I felt losing an old friend.
I close my eyes and remember all those years of growing up,
And captured those fond memories all over again.
I always knew you were a kind and gentle soul with a brilliant mind.
Unfortunately, so many didn’t understand you or even try,
You really were one of a kind.
Always seeking the answers deep, I your soul,
I like to think you found them all but guess I’ll never know.
I hoped you found some happiness before you stood knocking on heaven’s
       Door,
Your spirit like an eagle has left us to soar.
You’re at home now at peace and free,
There’s nothing left to say but rest in peace Bobby.
