Notes About The Poem

There Will Be Dogs In Heaven

There will be dogs in heaven, of this I am sure.
How could God exclude them, when their love is so pure…
Their devotion to their master is beyond compare.
This type of love you can’t find elsewhere.

Our dogs are part of the family, just like children,
With a loyalty to the owners, that is one in a million.
God placed these little angels on earth we call dogs.
I don’t think it is a coincidence dog spelled backwards is God.
