There Was a Little Tree
Once upon a time
There was a little tree
He hoped and prayed
He would grow up tall
Like all the other pine trees.
For all he wanted is to be picked
As a family Christmas tree.
He seen how happy
After hanging a few ornaments
People was so pleased.
Once upon a time
this little pine tree who grew
and grew and was chosen
By you know who?
To stand by the stables
Where baby Jesus
Layed cradled.
This little now grown up pine tree
was overwhelmed
With beautiful decorations .
While three Wiseman
Came from afar
As they were told by God
To follow a star.
Once upon a time
Jesus Christ was born
And gifts were given by three.
But there got to be so many,
they had to place a pine tree
near this shed.
Because it so much better
To give than receive .
God was so pleased
At this now beautiful pine tree.
And so he called it our nation
Christmas tree. (Wink)
But only for those who
Believe!
