There Is Where Most Likely You Will Find Me

On a winter or fall’s eve, dark and deep,
snuggled in my bed, I’ll be fast asleep,
but online (if Sandman acts unkindly);
there is where most likely you will find me!

In spring or summer, I’ll be having fun
just sitting with my pen beneath the sun
on my patio writing poetry.
There is where most likely you will find me.

Each Friday to a movie house I go
in early afternoon to see a show.
Because I revel in good fantasy,
there is where most likely you will find me.

If I’m not at work or shopping, it’s a time
I can relax or lose myself in rhyme.
In my home with hubbie, feeling comfy,
there is where most likely you will find me!

Fantastic write. Such a fun piece to read! Thank you for this write. I felt I was watching each scene you painted live as I was reading. As if they were clips to a neat commercial for a product that I now must purchase. I guess that product is your poetry and now I'm hooked. Thank you for sharing.

I like to write with pen on paper. Gives me a chance to screw up which I am skilled at. "Getting to know you - getting to know all about you." from the King and I, remember? You are so generous with revealings. Luck with the contest. Love, daver

I like those places too, and I reckon that your poetry shows your own love of these environs. Great work.

All pleasant places to be, with different outlets for fantasy. Your sandman joke was great (gosh I'm such a night owl myself). Warm and inviting verse, Andrea.
