There Is No Place Like Home

Born an Okie where the sun shines long and the stars shine so bright.
A land where cattle roam free and hearing the call of the white owl at night.

Summer time is very hot but the winters are full of ice and cold.
Spring time the air is sweet and in the fall, falling leaves of gold.

Seeing everyday a field of wild daisies and a family of deer.
The things I see are a wonder and so are the things I hear.

A lake of fish to catch and eat til your hearts content.
Prairies so wide there is always a place for you to vent.

Growing gardens, harvesting hay canning are things to do everyday.
We go to church praise our Lord and bough our heads to pray.

Living here in Prue,Oklahoma is the best place for me.
The people are so friendly there's no place I'ld rather be.
