There Is Always Hope
Light does shine through even the darkest of shades
For it exists, though we may not always see
The sun will wait for us, to guide us through our days
Lift up the shades, open the blinds and just be
Welcome the sunlight as the warmth hits your face
Hold onto it tightly, firmly, so to not let it go
Relish it; know that it’s there even through murky haze
The things that you need to see, the sun will show
As the eyes widen due to the brightness of the sphere
Remember, even in darkness, the sun’s still around
So be it in darkness or in light, be happy you are here
Be sure to let the light in and let it surround
