There Is a Land

There is a land with flowers
Which never lose blossom.
There is a land with towers
Touching nearly the sun.

There is a land of eternal joy
With mountain streams and springs,
Where you needn’t be sad or coy
‘Cause you feel like birds forming rings.

But don’t ask me about the land.
Don’t insist on my answering.
Please - you might misunderstand
You might mistake everything...

Trust me, please, the way I trust
Our hearts and my dreams - just plain.
In a while we’ll be in the past
Only the happy land will remain...
