There Comes a Time
There comes a time
There comes a time,
In everyone’s life;
When he’s got to face the truth,
No matter how or what.
There comes a time in your life,
When you will need me the most,
I won’t be there.
There comes a time in your life,
When you will not need me at all,
I won’t be there.
But now that I have this chance to be with you,
I will tell you what I know about this world;
It is not a bed of roses.
There comes a time to surrender,
Surrender yourself to someone.
Someone you will call your soul mate;
Somehow you will wish I could be there at times,
But you will be on your own.
There comes a time,
When you will meet turbulence
Along your way;
But there will be no turning back.
There comes a time in your life,
When you will be lonely. Lonely.
See, I am not that kind;
See, I am not the kind of a soul,
That will bring you flowers everyday.
I am not the kind of a guy,
That will tell you, show you I care in many fancy ways.
But there comes a time
When you will feel my absence.
Looking at where I used to sit
Won’t help you see me again.
Eating what I used to eat,
Won’t help you remember me.
Looking at my picture will be fruitless.
I will be gone. Gone never to return!
Singing the songs I sang,
Will only be a hard bang.
You will regret every little frown
You gave me instead of a smile.
You will feel my absence to no essence.
There comes a time;
When you will feel my need;
When you will realize that,
You will never find no one like me.
There comes this time. This time!
I will be gone.
I will be dead from your sight;
The eye of heaven will shine,
But you will still be in darkness.
There comes a time in your life.
