There be a land
Long lost times in middle June,
The nightingale sang her tune.
Many fireflies primed their light
For to dance throughout the night.
Tomorrow's still far away,
Beyond dreams that came your way;
Like the day that's passing by,
Youth can only wonder why.
The elders look back in awe
At all the things that they saw
When they travelled to get here,
Just to find their end draws near.
The last full moon fades to blue,
Behind storm clouds passing through.
As life is turned upside down,
Love comes back on the rebound.
Somewhere, there, beyond our time
Waits a land so well designed;
All our thoughts will find release,
Hearts and souls will be at peace.
