-Tired of the wind, as it still blows, Willow tree branches bend free, as the neighbors trash skidders across the lawn Birds and the bees always have been and love is misunderstood when seeing a broken hearted victims yawn I’ll grovel, begging on my knees to have those feelings back What is left in the quality of timed romance, I’d lack Her eyes once sparkled as dawn now sets a firm hold on tomorrow Laughing all day then, never to believe the core of our love was to be sorrow Emptied like the sand squeezed through an hourglass, we fell into a time spent heap When sure as in a dream, remembering boredoms yawn, ending in a mind troubled sleep…….
