Theodore
Children love teddy bears
They keep them company
Children imagine that they are real
And they can feel, hear and see
Teddies are a child's best friend
Be it girl or boy
Many children have Teddys'
They are their favourite toy
Children tell their Teddy's everything
All their worries and cares
Nobody agrees with children
Like their Teddy bears
They can say outrageous things
And don't get a smack
They can whisper secrets
As bears' can't answer back
A child can dress their bear in clothes
Tie coloured ribbons around their ears
And cuddle up to their Teddys'
To take away their fears
When a child grows up
And Teddy's not needed anymore
They will always be remembered
The bears' named after Theodore
