Then Whammo

Some days it's just not a good idea To wake and get out of the sack Sure as hell things will take a wrong turn You'll wish you could turn the clock back After the first, calamity numéro uno You think nothing else could go wrong Then WHAMMO! something gives you a jolt And you're back to square one before long Take heart, it happens to all of us You're probably thinking it's only you Surely been down that road more than once It's the sad part of life and so true The bottom line is to take it real slow Sure as hell tomorrow will be a better day After 86 years I've learned a few things So trust me and hear what I say!

So true, Jack. I'm not far behind you, but I've learned similar lessons. Too sad that the young do not listen to what we can share from experience.

My teenage years were filled with silly nonsense like most.... typical! Most teens come from the devil! Cheers from Canada!!!

Words of wisdom Jack, sure we all have bad days when we wished we'd stayed in bed. But the bad days fade as we remember all the good ones we had. Tom
