Oops....just remembered I confused this piece with Albinoni's Adagio....!! They are similar in feeling.....I love them both. Albinoni's piece was in "Gallipoli" and Barber's was featured in "Platoon".......I think that's correct? Both are amazing in the emotional beauty they instill (beautiful, soo sad!) Love C.

YES !!! A fellow classic music lover!! This piece is so wonderful...it moves me to tears!!! If I'm not mistaken....wasn't this the music that was played in that ending scene of "Gallilpoli" ??? Have you seen that old movie....it was the best of Mel Gibson...and that amazing music just made it the most emotional moment!! I adore music that moves me !!!! Love, C.
