Then and Now

The Gain below par the Pain, With Time tasting like a Lime. No Joy like a lifeless Toy, A sad Song for so Long. Hope in order to Cope, Was what they Say each Day. But down the Pit is where i Sit, And am Bound to what i had Found. The day Came, yet i felt Lame, The Table turned away from a Fable What they Said, has finally Paid, Hope in order to Cope. As i Pack and thinking Back. I Wear a smile and not Fear, The Pain has become my Gain And Life feels like a new Wife.
