"then and Now"
On a wonderful spring day like today..
Reminds me of being a child and all play...
Running in the yard wanting the sun to stay out for more..
Now a day in the same not so important anymore..
Riding a bike up and down the same hills...
Now in the morning wondering if I took my pills..
An evening hanging out with friends in the park..
Only now making sure I have my coffee before dark..
Watching late night movies till my eyes start to snooze..
But for tonight just trying to make the evening news..
No alarm clocks and no rushing to make it to work today..
Just fine memories of a child who now writes his thoughts
on this fine spring day
