Then and Now
As I lay here in my corner.
Memories of us they fill my head.
You found me when I was broken.
Brought me back from almost dead.
Turned my frown upside down .
You put a smile upon my face.
Every night you'd wrap me up.
Taking me to my most favorite place.
For the first time since the last ,
I wanted to give my heart away.
If I knew then what I know now.
I'd still fall for you the same way.
Days they turned into months.
Some had no special meaning to you.
That is when I met another ,
You were no longer the person I knew.
The heart that you found broken .
The one you started to mend.
You knew just what I needed.
Then pissed it all into the wind.
Now Lying in this bed.
It feels like I'm alone.
I remember a time ,
Your arms they felt like home.
