Their Special Moments
THEIR SPECIAL MOMENTS
Recall hours you, felt wasted
watching something on T.V.
Not really important to you,
something “they”… wanted to see?
As Mom, you wanted time to talk,
turn on T.V,. when you’re alone.
Wanted to hear all about son,
he’d come to see his Dad…at home.
Important cherished few hours
between father and only son.
How quickly find time passes,
still, no talking with you… got done.
These days are, ‘their special moments,’
to share love of golf, and racing.
Importance of hours together
past mind’s ability try… tracing.
One day, ‘one’ no longer, be here
cause age catches up with a Dad.
How thankful you’ll be, that you gave
them, moments alone …that they had.
Moments you wanted to share too,
but knew, they needed time alone.
You’ll knew you’d have your time later
when son calls his ‘Mom’…on the phone.
