Their Day
As I write, I watch people around me,
each doing their own different things.
All striving for what they think will be
the life that happiness brings.
Little children with hearts so pure
led by grownups consumed with care,
an elderly couple, each seventy or more
as they sit make a wonderful pair.
Conversation around me is day to day life;
what you might consider mundane talk.
Outside the streets are teeming with life
as people drive and some people walk.
It's funny, the various things that you see
if you just take the time to look.
Each and every person that I have seen
has a story that belongs in a book.
So what will make people happy
as they go on about their day.
I suggest that each comes to the place
Where Christ is the only Way.
