The Yes

I remember the dance,
I remember the question,
I remember the yes.

I remember the movie,
I remember moving closer,
I remember the kiss.
I remember the question,
I remember the yes

I remember the sadness,
I remember the hate,
I remember you telling me, it'd
be you that i'd miss.
I remember the question,
I remember the yes

I remember the fall,
I remember it all,
I remember the question,
I remember the yes

I remember the tears,
It didn't get easier through all of the years,
Even now, against all sense,
If you asked me the question,
I'd still say yes
